Although great efforts have been made to provide a temporary response to COVID-19, more action is needed to stabilize the economy, individuals and families for the long term.
As Congress and the Biden administration finalize priorities for the next COVID aid package, we ask that more funding be provided to ensure people remain housed, fed and healthy.

- ensuring adequate resources to promote family and worker stability;
- supporting the healthcare safety net;
- bolstering support for immigrants and refugees; and
- establishing laws to punish predatory lenders.
The pandemic, with its gnawing impact on the economy, food security and housing availability, has had a particularly devastating effect on people who already were living in fragile environments.
