Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County (CCSCC) has provided the equivalent of over 400,000 meals per week during the COVID-19 pandemic and economic crisis (See graphic above).
Gregory R. Kepferle, CEO of CCSCC, thanked all the partners and funders that enabled the generous food distributions.

“My deep appreciation goes to our staff and volunteers who deftly ‘pivoted’ from their usual duties in order to feed our hungry neighbors,” Kepferle said. “We definitely can’t do this alone and appreciate the strong partnerships we’ve been blessed with.”
The partners include Second Harvest Silicon Valley, First Five of Santa Clara County, the Franklin-McKinley School District, the Diocese of San Jose and its amazing participating parishes, The Health Trust, Santa Clara County’s Senior Nutrition Program, Sourcewise, Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits, CADRE, Santa Clara University, St. Francis High School, Catholic Charities USA, Sysco, LinkedIn, Sodexo, Artisan, Deloitte and the City of San Jose.
Kepferle noted that the need for food remains high, so continued donations, volunteers, and partnerships will be most welcome.
