CCUSA joins in call for elected leaders to prioritize hunger programs in Farm Bill

CCUSA, in a joint letter with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, Catholic Relief Services, Catholic Rural Life and St. Vincent de Paul, urge Congressional leaders serving on the House and Senate agriculture committees to ensure that the upcoming Farm Bill prioritizes support for programs that feed the hungry both domestically and abroad, provide a safety net for farmers that ensures resources target small and moderate-sized family farms and vulnerable farmers, seek the well-being of rural communities, and sustainably steward the land.
