Report a suspected scam
Catholic Charities USA and other social services organizations have noticed a recent uptick in scammers targeting vulnerable populations. Scammers are fraudulently using the Catholic Charities USA name, logo, contact information and the names of personnel to attempt to dupe victims into sharing personal information and sending fees for nonexistent services.
If you suspect you may have been approached by scammers, do NOT share any personal information or send money. Catholic Charities USA does NOT provide direct client services, does not advertise any services, and does not ask for payment of any kind.
If you think you may be the victim of a scam, please report the incident immediately to your bank and to legal authorities such as the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov.
Please complete the form below to submit a scam alert to Catholic Charities USA. All email communications from Catholic Charities USA in response to your submission will come from the @catholiccharitiesusa.org email domain.
