CCUSA and CRS RCIA Resource
CCUSA and Catholic Relief Services have jointly published, in English and Spanish, a lectionary-based catechetical session for adults preparing for initiation into the Catholic Church through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The lesson plan identifies certain Sundays on which the lectionary readings suggest an exploration of the Christian responsibility to serve the poor, and links it to an introduction to the work of Catholic Charities and CRS. Elements of this resource include a recommended session outline, Scripture commentary, video possibilities, questions for personal reflection and group sharing, teaching notes, and possibilities for encounter and service.
