She looks forward to collaborating with the new administration and policymakers on issues for the common good. Her statement follows:

“On behalf of Catholic Charities USA, I wish to congratulate President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and Vice President Kamala D. Harris on this historic day. We look forward to working with the new administration in promoting unity and healing in our country. Most urgently, in this time of pandemic we underscore our commitment and intensify our efforts to feed, shelter, welcome, and care for those who are vulnerable and suffering in this painful time. Since our founding, Catholic Charities has responded to our country’s most harrowing challenges with an unwavering desire to assist anyone who comes to us for help. We raise our voices and the voices of families and individuals who are struggling desperately to get back on their feet.”
