CCUSA president and CEO urges increase in FY2019 refugee admissions to U.S.

In a letter to President Trump, Sister Donna Markham OP, PhD, President & CEO of Catholic Charities USA, asked the president to take into consideration the plight of the more than 65 million refugees seeking humanitarian assistance and urged him to increase the number to be admitted into the United States through the Presidential Determination for Fiscal Year 2019 refugee admissions.
