CCUSA – with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Catholic Rural Life, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Catholic Relief Services – sent a letter to 2018 Farm Bill Conference Committee Members as negotiations are about to begin between the House and the Senate. In their response they stated: “negotiate a final bill that reflects a commitment to the common good of all. Agriculture policies should adequately respond to the needs of the most vulnerable and hungry people, and farmers and families at home and abroad.”
