CCUSA issues joint letter regarding Farm Bill to Conference Committee Members

CCUSA – with the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, Catholic Rural Life, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Catholic Relief Services – sent a letter to 2018 Farm Bill Conference Committee Members as negotiations are about to begin between the House and the Senate. In their response they stated: “negotiate a final bill that reflects a commitment to the common good of all. Agriculture policies should adequately respond to the needs of the most vulnerable and hungry people, and farmers and families at home and abroad.” Read the full letter here.
