You will play a pivotal role in our team’s success through providing supervision and support to our trainees and/or associates and ensuring the delivery of evidence-based, client-centered care. As a Clinical Supervising Therapist, your responsibilities will include conducting individual and group supervision sessions, facilitating professional development opportunities, and promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment. 

Examples of Duties: 

  • Assign therapists’ caseloads and provide clinical supervision to trainees and associates in accordance with the policies of the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
  • Train, supervise, evaluate and provide ongoing direction for trainees and associate staff
    Provide direct clinical services which may include any of the following: individual and group therapy, family therapy, therapy with adults and/or children, and psychological testing
  • Monitor the monthly review of case files, oversee documentation of all evaluation requirements and ensure that files are current and complete
  • Develop and promote a sense of teamwork among staff
  • Maintain a solid working knowledge of all rules and regulations that have been established by state law, the Board of Behavioral Science, Medi-Cal, and NVCSS

Work Schedule: 40 Hours Per Week, Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, some evenings

Pay Range: $74,526.40 (Step A) – $90,716.35 (Step G), Exempt

Qualifications: 

  • A Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • Have an active license and be in good standing with the California BBS Examiners or appropriate licensing agency
  • Experience supervising staff and met the legal requirements set by the BBS
  • Experience working with Medi-Cal programs, documentations and billing procedures such as CalAIM
