The VISTA will support the Owosso location to increase effectiveness of programs to alleviate poverty for the underserved community of Genesee and Shiawassee Counties.
The VISTA will serve as a vital member of the organization by implementing the Diaper Bank program. To help increase the capacity of the organization, the VISTA will assist with the recruitment and scheduling of volunteers and the creation of volunteer events. The VISTA will implement, manage, and improve processes for the Shiawassee Hunger Network program.
This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty.
