Veteran Village Program Coordinator VISTA

Help support the program coordination of Sacred Heart Veteran Village, in all areas of implementation to alleviate poverty for the underserved community of Genesee and Shiawassee Counties.
Working in tandem with the Development Department, the VISTA will assist with the creation of programming documents for Sacred Heart Veteran Village. The VISTA will serve as a Program Coordinator by building relationships with vendors of SHVV and providing outreach support for the Community Center. Working closely with the Development Director, the VISTA will assist with the processes of securing non-federal and state grants. The VISTA will develop sustainable processes to retain programming information. As a member of the Development Department, the VISTA will participate in all staff and committee meetings.
This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty.
