Join Catholic Charities USA and build capacity in local Catholic Charities agencies that provide an assortment of services to children, youth, and families.

In addition to strengthening communities, the VISTA will grow the capacity for children, youth, and family programs across the Catholic Charities network and equip them to meet the needs of families in their communities. They will provide resources and supplement the current Children, Youth & Families CCConnect group with more tools on evidence-based practices, trauma-informed approaches, youth development resources and family poverty reduction. They will develop training and educational materials for distribution on youth development, pregnancy supports and adoption topics. Using CCUSA’s Children, Youth, and Families Annual Survey data the VISTA will create fact sheets, one-pagers, and resources. The VISTA will work to promote strategies and interventions that help reduce family poverty by developing training and educational materials for distribution and creating content through a two-generational approach, engaging both adults and children simultaneously in integrated services.

This VISTA position is a part of Catholic Charities USA’s Family Strengthening Program, a national intermediary project. As a member, you will meet virtually with VISTA Leaders and other VISTAs serving throughout the country, all focused on alleviating poverty.
