Charities USA is a quarterly magazine that highlights the valuable work of Catholic Charities agencies, staff, and volunteers serving people in need. It contains feature articles, news, program updates, and other information of interest.
Prayer Resources: Prayer and reflection are part of the fabric of our work at Catholic Charities. Through prayer we draw support and inspiration from God. The Church Fathers at Vatican II describe prayer and liturgy as being “at the foundation of the Catholic social mission.” This compilation of prayers were submitted by agencies across the Catholic Charities network. It is only a beginning; we view it as a “work-in-progress.”
Quarterly Snapshot Survey: This survey is a powerful barometer on poverty and its findings are further proof that we need to continue to work to find ways to better serve individuals in need in a more financially sustainable way. In addition, this data allows CCUSA to adjust its national resources to support local agencies in the most effective way.
