PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Proporcionar apoyo emocional a los residentes en su camino para mantener la estabilidad de la vivienda y mejorar la calidad de vida.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Experiencia de vida con la inestabilidad de la vivienda, la falta de hogar, la recuperación del consumo de sustancias u otros retos, con la capacidad de utilizar esa experiencia para inspirar y apoyar a otros.
Capacidad para trabajar eficazmente con residentes y personal en situaciones de crisis.
Fuertes habilidades interpersonales, de comunicación y de resolución de problemas.
Comprensión de la atención informada sobre traumas y las necesidades únicas de las personas en transición o que mantienen una vivienda de apoyo permanente.
Capacidad para establecer y mantener límites saludables mientras se trabaja con los residentes.
Conocimiento de los recursos y servicios de la comunidad, en particular los relacionados con la vivienda, la salud mental y el empleo.
EDUCACIÓN y/o EXPERIENCIA
High School Degree
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Salary: $20.00 per/hour. Part-time.
Training: We provide a robust training curriculum that will support our employees throughout their careers. Training provided within the first year of employment includes: De-escalation & Safety; Mental Health First Aid; Substance Abuse & Mental Health; Human Trafficking; Trauma Informed Care; and many more.

Extensive Paid Time Off (4 weeks accrual for new employees – increasing based on tenure), promoting work-life balance.
15 Paid Holidays annually (shelters are 24/7, so there may be a need to work some holidays, which would include holiday pay).
403b Retirement Plan with Agency contribution of 4% & match up to 2% of annual compensation.
Choice of 3 PPO Medical Plans (90% of employees’ and 75% of dependents’ premiums are paid by the agency), Dental, & Vision starting the 1st day of the month following start date.

**Part-time employees (20-29 hours per week) also receive paid annual leave, company-paid holidays, and a 403b retirement plan with agency contribution and match.
