We serve tens of thousands of people each year in seven ministries: Marisol Services, Early Childhood Education, Shelter Services, Catholic Charities Housing, St. Raphael Counseling, Family, Kinship, and Senior Services; and Parish & Community Engagement.

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Navegador de la vida de los residentes en Caridades Católicas:
- Ofrecer intervención en crisis y gestión del entorno para proporcionar un ambiente seguro, estable y positivo.
- Cumplir y hacer cumplir las normas del refugio.
- Responder a las llamadas telefónicas, incluidas las de crisis, y devolver todos los mensajes dejados.
- Proporcionar información, derivación y defensa a los residentes de los refugios y a las personas que llaman en situaciones de crisis.
- Cumplimentar con exactitud y puntualidad toda la documentación requerida.
- Orientar a los nuevos participantes sobre el refugio y explicarles las normas de la casa.
- Supervisar y controlar las tareas diarias.
- Realizar controles de habitación y responsabilizar a los residentes de las normas y políticas de Marisol Homes.
- Realizar análisis de orina periódicos a los participantes para detectar la presencia de drogas.
- Asistir a las reuniones semanales del personal y a las supervisiones mensuales programadas.
- Participar en el mantenimiento de la casa, informar puntualmente al supervisor de todas las necesidades de mantenimiento, alimentos y suministros.
- Completar la comprobación de seguridad al inicio de cada turno y con frecuencia a lo largo del mismo.
- Apoya, promueve y se adhiere a la visión, la misión, los valores y el Código Ético de Catholic Charities.

- Uses creativity and innovation in program development and service delivery.
- Maintains confidentiality of client and agency information.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Capacidad para trabajar eficazmente con mujeres en situaciones de crisis
- Gran capacidad de comunicación interpersonal
- Conocimientos informáticos básicos para introducir datos, crear comunicaciones y generar informes.
- Knowledge of the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and the appropriate techniques and practices for the client population.
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with Agency staff and with a diverse client base.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
De seis meses a un año de experiencia y/o formación relacionada; o combinación equivalente de educación y experiencia.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salario: $20-21 por hora. Tiempo Completo, Jueves- Domingo 10:00pm-8:30am.
Training: We provide a robust training curriculum that will support our employees throughout their career. Training provided within the first year of employment includes: De-escalation & Safety; Mental Health First Aid; Substance Abuse & Mental Health; Human Trafficking; Trauma Informed Care; and many more.

- Shift is Full Time
- Extensive Paid Time Off (4 weeks accrual for new employees – increasing based on tenure) promoting work life balance.
- 15 Paid Holidays annually (shelters are 24/7, so if a holiday is worked, holiday pay is included.)
- 403b Retirement Plan with Agency contribution of 4% & match up to 2% of annual compensation.
- Choice of 3 PPO Medical Plans (90% of employee’s and 75% of dependent’s premiums is paid by Agency), Dental, & Vision starting the 1st day of the month following start date.
