Give Through Your Trust or Will

The future of our ministry will be built on today’s planned and deferred gifts. Together with our most faithful donors, we will continue to serve people in need for another 120 years.

If you have included Catholic Charities in your estate plans, or would like more information on how to, please contact us so we can welcome you as a member of our Legacy Society.

Legal Language and Tax ID

For all legal purposes, please refer to our organization as:

Catholic Charities USA, 2050 Ballenger Avenue Suite 400, Alexandria Virginia 22314
EIN/Tax ID#: 53-0196620

Wills and Bequests

A gift through your will or trust is one of the most popular and flexible ways that you can support Catholic Charities USA.

Our suggested language for naming Catholic Charities USA in your will is:

“I hereby give ____________ (percentage, residuary share or specific amount or asset) to Catholic Charities USA, 2050 Ballenger Avenue Suite 400, Alexandria Virginia 22314.”

Beneficiary Designation

A beneficiary designation gift is a simple and affordable way to make a gift to support Catholic Charities USA. You can designate us as a beneficiary of a retirement, investment or bank account or your life insurance policy.

After a person's death, retirement accounts are exposed to income, and in some cases estate taxes, which at a combined rate could rise to 75% or higher. The only way to avoid these taxes on your retirement plan is to give those assets to a charity. By designating Catholic Charities USA as your beneficiary, you will ensure 100% of the value of your account benefits those we serve.

For Professional Advisors
