Please join us for the CCUSA Immigration and Refugee Services Community of Practice meeting. During this meeting, we will hear from the field about pressing Immigration and Refugee Services issues and receive a policy update from CCUSA, MRS/USCCB, and CLINIC.
Additionally, we will focus on ‘Expanding the Agency Model with Sustainable Programs to Better Serve Immigrants, Refugees, and Other Vulnerable Populations’. Our network of agencies provides critical services to vulnerable populations using limited budgets. Providing affordable services to populations with limited resources creates financial hardship that is not always satisfied through philanthropy and contract awards. Staff from Catholic Charities of Orlando and Catholic Charities of Central Texas have explored a more self-sustainable program approach to better finance the services they provide and will offer their unique perspectives for this month’s meeting.
