WHY WE DO IT
Each human being is made in the image and likeness of God and deserves the help needed to reach one’s potential. With special concern for those who are vulnerable and considered outcasts by society, Catholic Charities staff and volunteers seek to protect the dignity of everyone whom they serve.
“The word of God tells us that the family is entrusted to a man, a woman and their children, so that they may become a communion of persons in the image of the union of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”
AMORIS LAETITIA, NO. 29
“Through the generosity and partnership with Walmart, Catholic Charities USA can provide grants to fund summer food programs such as the Sunset Point camp run by Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston.”
