Integrated Health & Nutrition

Catholic Charities agencies provide a wide spectrum of integrated health and hunger services for individuals and families in need, from behavioral health and addictions services to Meals on Wheels and community farms. The national office supports Catholic Charities staff by providing resources, best practices, and grant opportunities.

Why We Do It

Catholic Charities believes that access to equitable and affordable health care and nutrition is a basic human right. We are committed to supporting each person’s integral human development, meaning one’s physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

"The development we speak of here cannot be restricted to economic growth alone. To be authentic, it must be well rounded; it must foster the development of each [person] and of the whole [person].”
