Walking with Moms in Need, A Year of Service webinar 3-17-2020

Pregnant and parenting moms in need are in every community. The challenges can be immense for women in difficult pregnancies, especially women in poverty. As Pope Francis reminds us, Catholic parishes need to be “islands of mercy in the midst of a sea of indifference.”

The USCCB is asking bishops to invite their parishes to join a Year of Service to pregnant and parenting mothers in need from March 25, 2020 to March 25, 2021. Parishes will be asked to assess, expand, and communicate resources to pregnant moms and families in need in their communities. Close collaboration with Catholic Charities and other social service organizations is crucial for success.
