CATHOLIC CHARITIES USA'S FIRST-EVER WEBCAST

Join the March Against Racism and Poverty! Let Your Light Shine.

At the 2007 Annual Gathering, Catholic Charities leaders participated in a candlelight march to demonstrate their commitment to eradicating racism.

Building on this experience, Catholic Charities USA will host its first-ever live video Webcast for local agencies across the country to discuss and exchange ideas for addressing the connection between race and poverty.

Grounded in its thought-provoking paper, Poverty and Racism: Overlapping Threats to the Common Good, the Webcast is designed to compel each of us to serve, educate, and advocate for programs and policies that will foster unity in our communities, eliminate racism, and significantly reduce poverty in our lifetime.

When: Wednesday, April 2, 2008
Time:  1:00pm - 4:00pm EST
The Webcast has concluded. Check back for information on rebroadcast.
