Catholic Charities USA Welcomes New Directors to Social Service Network

Reaffirms 100-year-old mission to support local agencies

Alexandria, VA–Catholic Charities USA, the 170-member national human services organization committed to cutting poverty in half by 2020–welcomed twelve new Diocesan Directors to its national network this week during the annual New Diocesan Directors Institute.

Senior members of Catholic Charities USA’s staff as well as directors from across the country participated in the 2-day retreat designed to introduce new directors to the programs and services available from Catholic Charities USA’s National Office. As a professional association and social justice movement, Catholic Charities USA supports local Catholic Charities agencies as they provide help and create hope for over 9 million people each year regardless of religious, social, or economic backgrounds.

Larry Snyder, President and CEO of Catholic Charities USA. “As we move into our next 100 years of service, I look forward to the many opportunities we will have together to advocate for justice, promote sustainable change, and truly work to reduce poverty in America.”
