Catholic Charities USA Veteran's Day Message
Alexandria, VA— Rev. Larry Snyder, president of Catholic Charities USA, issued the following statement today in honor of Veteran’s Day:
"As we reflect in prayer this Veteran’s Day, let us honor and remember all those who serve or have served in our military. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to the men and women in the military who work to promote peace and justice across the world. We salute their dedication and determination to protect all God’s people. Our thoughts are with the families of those who have lost their lives, especially the victims at Fort Hood, and we pray for the continued safety of all our military personnel.”
