$25,000 Awards AvailableThe Catholic Charities USA/Annie E. Casey Foundation Family Strengthening Awards recognize effective service approaches, reward exemplary programs, and celebrate innovative program/service development in family strengthening activities. With the generous support of the Annie E. Casey Foundation, Catholic Charities USA will honor three outstanding programs within the Catholic Charities network that demonstrate excellence in support of families and the communities in which they live. Catholic Charities USA will select programs that can serve as models for the nation and will award each program $25,000 in recognition of their pioneering efforts. Selected programs may use the funds at their discretion to support the initiative. Awardees will be obliged to participate in a peer technical assistance activity and to attend the CCUSA Annual Gathering in Portland, Oregon on September 24-27, 2009, to describe their winning program.
